Bookkeeping Services for Panama City-Area Small Businesses

SoFlo360 is a Florida-based bookkeeping firm serving Panama City-area small businesses remotely. We're in Central Florida — the Panhandle is a real drive, and we won't pretend otherwise — but the whole engagement runs online, built for the construction, hospitality, and beach-economy businesses rebuilding and growing across Bay County.

How We Work

How we work with Panama City-area businesses

Panama City and the Beach run on construction, hospitality, and tourism — a local economy still in a long rebuild and growth cycle. That means a lot of contractors, trades, and seasonal hospitality businesses that need clean job-cost and monthly books but don't have time to chase them. We handle it entirely remote: bank feeds, document upload, Bay County sales and tourist tax, year-end packet to your CPA. We're nowhere near the Panhandle — and with remote bookkeeping, that genuinely doesn't matter.

Industries

Panama City FAQ

Common questions from Panama City-area business owners.

We're based in Polk County, a long way southeast in Central Florida — the Panhandle is a real drive — but distance is irrelevant when the whole engagement runs online: bank feeds, cloud accounting, video calls, monthly reports. Almost everything in modern bookkeeping runs remote — bank feeds, document upload, cloud accounting, video calls. Most of our Panama City clients have never met us in person, and video covers every conversation from onboarding through year-end.
A few reasons. One: no city-office overhead — we work remotely from Polk County, so you're not paying for a Panama City storefront. Two: we're built specifically for smaller businesses — solo owners and small teams under a few hundred transactions a month — so we're not priced around the mid-market work larger firms structure around. Three: the engagement is a fixed monthly close, not billable hours. If you're a high-volume, multi-entity operation, a larger firm may genuinely fit you better — and we'll tell you that up front.
Yes. We set the books up to track Florida state sales tax (6%) plus the Bay County discretionary surtax (1%) correctly per transaction. For vacation rentals, the county tourist development tax also applies, and we track it per property. We prepare each return so it's ready to file; the filing itself is normally done by you or your CPA.
Bay County has a growing Hispanic community, especially in the construction trades supporting the area's long rebuild. We offer Spanish-friendly support — calls, emails, and document review can run in Spanish whenever that's easier for the client.
For our purposes, yes. Anywhere in Bay County (Panama City, Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven, Callaway, and the rest of Bay County) is what we mean by 'Panama City-area' on this page. The work is identical and the pricing is identical — there's no location markup.
That's fine. Your QuickBooks Online file is yours — we don't lock it down and we don't trap data. We deliver a clean year-end packet to whoever takes over, and switching costs you nothing on our end — just give us 30 days' notice.
