The Founder

A note from Jin.

Some people collect stamps. I collect broken processes.

It started before the accounting degree. I'm the kind of person who can't watch someone do a task three times without wanting to build the system that does it for them. Eventually I made it official: a bachelor's in accounting, then five years in accounting and finance, a lot of it spent inside other people's numbers, finding out why things didn't add up.

Here's what those years taught me. When a business's books are a mess, the owner almost never caused it. Somewhere along the way a process broke, or nobody ever built one, and the owner inherited the wreckage along with everything else they carry. Then the industry hands them software built for accountants, reports written for auditors, and a vague sense that they should be better at this.

I don't think you should be better at this. I think this should be better at you.

That's the whole reason SoFlo360 exists. I build the bookkeeping process around how you already operate, then I run it, month after month, so it stays built. You get clean books, on time, and a report you can read without a dictionary. When something in the numbers needs your attention, I tell you in plain language, and when it doesn't, I don't waste your morning.

The languages part

I was born in Peru. I'm a Japanese citizen. I've spent my life moving between languages, which turns out to be good training for bookkeeping, because accounting is a language too, and most owners were never taught it.

It also means Spanish isn't a checkbox on my website. Plenty of business owners do their best thinking in Spanish and then get financial reports in English. With me you can run the whole relationship en español: onboarding, questions, monthly reports, all of it.

What I am, and what I'm not

I'm not a CPA firm, and I won't pretend to be one. I don't sign tax returns or audits. What I do is the work underneath all of that, the work that makes tax season boring instead of terrifying: monthly bookkeeping, payroll support, cleanup and catch-up, and reporting that tells you where you actually stand.

And if you're behind, you're in the most normal club in small business. A year of unreconciled accounts is not a character flaw. It's a backlog. Backlogs clear. I've watched the relief land on an owner's face when the books finally match reality, and honestly, that moment is the best part of this job.

Where to start

Look at the pricing page, pick the plan that fits, or just send me the thing you're dreading. The shoebox, the abandoned QuickBooks file, the "I haven't looked since March" spreadsheet. I've seen worse, and I'll tell you exactly what fixing it takes. If you're months or years behind, catch-up bookkeeping is the routine fix.

Your books, handled, built around the way you actually work.

The Approach

What working with SoFlo360 actually looks like.

A real conversation first

Before any proposals or pricing, we talk. About your business, your current setup, what's actually broken, and what would make your week easier.

A clean foundation

If your books need cleanup, that happens first. Monthly bookkeeping doesn't work on a broken foundation, and I don't pretend otherwise.

A monthly rhythm

A predictable monthly cycle. Categorization, reconciliation, and reports delivered, with optional review calls depending on the service plan.

Easy to reach

Email, phone, or scheduled call. Whatever works. You shouldn't have to chase your bookkeeper to get answers about your own business.
