Bookkeeping Services for Miami-Area Small Businesses

SoFlo360 is a Florida-based bookkeeping firm serving Miami-area small businesses remotely. We're in Polk County, three-and-a-half hours northwest, and the entire engagement runs online — bank feeds, cloud accounting, video calls, monthly reports. Spanish-friendly throughout, which matters here more than almost anywhere else in the country.

How We Work

How we work with Miami-area businesses

Miami has more bookkeepers and CPAs per square mile than anywhere else in Florida — especially in Doral, Brickell, and Coral Gables. We're not pretending to compete with local presence. What we offer is straightforward: a Florida-based bookkeeper who runs remote, answers in Spanish or English, and doesn't bury you in administrative fees. If you've been burned by a local firm that doesn't respond to emails, or you're a small operator who feels too small at your current bookkeeper, we're probably a good fit. If you need someone you can drop in on in person, we're not.

Industries

Miami industries we work with

Miami's economy is global in a way no other Florida market is. These are the categories where we tend to fit small operators best.

Real Estate

Real estate agents and small teams

Solo agents and boutique teams across Miami-Dade. Commission income, splits, marketing spend, and clean books that hold up to scrutiny when a deal closes high or volume gets uneven.

Miami FAQ

Common questions from Miami-area business owners.

The same way we serve clients in Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and out of state — through bank feeds, document upload, cloud-based QuickBooks, and video calls. The work is digital. Once we're set up, the distance is invisible. Our Miami clients hear from us the same week of the month, every month, just like everyone else.
Yes. The founder is Spanish-friendly, and a meaningful share of our clients prefers Spanish for calls, emails, and document review. Miami clients especially: tell us your preferred language on the intake form and we'll match it. Documents and reports in QuickBooks can be reviewed in English or Spanish depending on what your CPA needs.
Yes. We set up the books to track Florida state sales tax (6%) plus the Miami-Dade 1% discretionary surtax correctly per transaction. For Miami Beach businesses, we also track the local 2% resort tax on hotel/food when it applies. Your CPA or you file; we make sure the numbers are ready.
We can track these. QuickBooks Online supports multi-currency, and we'll set up your file accordingly. Transactions get recorded in USD at the conversion rate, with notes on the originating currency where it matters. For complex international structures (subsidiaries abroad, transfer pricing, FBAR/FATCA reporting), you'll need an international tax CPA — that's outside what bookkeeping covers, and we'll be upfront about that early.
Often, yes, but it depends on what you're comparing. Our pricing — Starter $149/mo, Growth $399/mo, Scale $799/mo — is the same whether you're in Miami, Polk County, or anywhere else in Florida. Boutique firms in Brickell and Coral Gables often run higher per month and may charge extra for things we include (monthly close, year-end packet, basic Q&A). Get quotes, compare them line-by-line, and decide.
Perfect — keep them. We do the monthly bookkeeping, your CPA does the tax return. The split makes sense: a local CPA understands Miami-Dade dynamics for the return; we keep the books clean and easy to hand off. We deliver year-end packets in the format your CPA wants. Most of our Miami clients keep their existing local CPA without any change.
