This English-language Privacy Policy is the official version. A Spanish-language summary is available on request — email Contact@soflo360.com.

1. Who We Are

SoFlo360 Accounting Services ("SoFlo360," "we," "us," or "our") is a Florida-based bookkeeping and accounting support firm operating remotely across the United States. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit soflo360.com, contact us, or use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use our website.

Information you provide:

  • Contact details you submit through forms or email — typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the message you write.
  • Booking information when you schedule a free consultation through our Calendly link, including any details you choose to share about your business.
  • Information you share during consultations or in service-related correspondence.

Information collected automatically:

  • Standard analytics data via Google Analytics 4 — including your approximate location (city or region), device type, browser, pages viewed, time on site, and referring source.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used by our analytics provider to recognize returning visitors and improve site performance.
  • Server logs maintained by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide the bookkeeping, payroll support, AP/AR, or QuickBooks cleanup services you request.
  • Schedule and conduct consultations.
  • Send transactional emails such as appointment confirmations and service updates.
  • Improve our website and service offerings based on aggregate usage patterns.
  • Comply with applicable laws, tax-related recordkeeping requirements for our own business, and lawful requests from authorities.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that has legal effects on you, and we do not engage in profiling.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers we rely on to operate: Netlify (website hosting), Google (Google Analytics 4 and Workspace), Calendly (consultation scheduling), our email provider, and accounting software platforms used in delivering services. Each acts under contractual obligations to protect your data.
  • Professional advisors: Our own attorneys, accountants, or insurers when reasonably necessary, under confidentiality.
  • Legal requirements: When required by subpoena, court order, or applicable law, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transitions: If SoFlo360 is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

5. Cookies & Analytics

Our site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies through Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site and to improve performance. Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking specifically by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the personal information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website, access controls on accounting platforms, and confidential handling of client financial data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal obligations to retain certain records.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email Contact@soflo360.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

8. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, contact us using the email above.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and adults age 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
